The Deeside Metal Company was incorporated in 1948.

The business in the early days used to process all types of metals for recycling.
This was expanded with the Steel Stock Holding side of the business.

The company have always offered a fast turn round of customer scrap on a same or next day basis.

With a modern fleet of wagons, we can offer customers collections of used materials in skips from 4 cu yards to the very large 36 cu yard roll-on, roll-off containers.
We also have a lorry mounted hiab crane for self loading of items up to 1.5 tonnes.

We currently operate our own public weighbridge for the convenience and security of customers.

Once unloaded in our yard the materials are separated and then processed by a 500 tonne press and baling shears.

The new developments are the processing of builders waste; this was seen as natural expansion of the recycling of waste products.

The plans are now in process to have a transfer station for the recycling of builders waste.
